About Me The owner of the old fish merchant’s house is Mr. Lim Hock Leong (my grand) which located on this island, Koh lanta Yai,which played a major role as a safe-haven port for traders from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
Originally, Sri Raya ( Lanta Old town) on the east coast, acted as the port and commercial center for the island and provided safe harbor for Arabic and Chinese trading vessels sailing between the larger ports of Phuket, Penang and Singapore.

Welcome to the old town "Koh Lanta", an island, which has been established for over a century for the purpose of business. In the past, it was a business center for many countries so culture and custom of the place
had been combined from many races.
Nowadays the town has changed from what it was from the past to peaceful and leisure living life style. Only the stlye architectures still remianed.

the town which you can sense the real style of living from the past.There are a lots of sightseeing places nearby, for example, Sea Gypsea Village, park,musuem and there is a longtail boat wharf can take you travel to many small islands nearby. |
